Aliens: Colonial Marines

This game, which was rumored to be cancelled since 2002, has once again hit the radar. Let’s hope that we get to see this title before the end of 2009.

 

Borderlands

Little is known about this title. What I do know is it is expected to feature both FPS and RPG elements. I’m anxious to find out more.

 

Battlefield Heroes

This FREE, yes free multiplayer war game of the Battlefield Universe could easily be summed up as, Battlefield’s answer to TF2. Goofy cartoony characters, bright colors, and humorous dialog can all be found in BFH. They’ve recently started their Beta, so be sure to visit www.battlefield-heroes.com to sign up.

 

Duke Nukem Forever

With over a decade in the making, we can only hope that all of their new content, videos, and screenshots are a precursor to a release. We’ll have to wait and see, as nothing has been announced.

 

Starcraft 2

The Zerg Trailer has been released, along with huge amounts of unit details, artwork and other gameplay videos. It would be great to have this title launch for spring however, in the words of Blizzard, “As with all Blizzard games, we will take as much time as needed to ensure the game is as fun, balanced, and polished as possible.” In other words, it will be ready when it’s ready. What do you expect? In my opinion, Starcraft was one of the greatest titles ever released, and this one will be even better.
